An Alentejo of schist, limestone and marble.
A group of friends launched this wine project on the outskirts of Estremoz after falling in love with the extraordinary local light and its golden tones.
The Aliestre vineyards cover 52 hectares of schist and limestone soils, with outcrops of the region's famous marble. Varieties include Arinto, Roupeiro, Antão Vaz, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The range includes blends and single-varietal wines, white, red and rosé, all sharing freshness and a distinctly local profile.
