Founded in Bairrada in 1991 as Quinta de Baixo, the project became Kompassus in 2005. As a Bairrada producer, its leading variety is Baga, the region's queen grape.
With viticulture based on sustainable practices and traditional methods, much of the Kompassus range comes from old vines over 70 years old.
